Park Permits

When do I need to Purchase a Park Permit?

A Park Permit is required for all Park use.  Most campgrounds within Beaver Creek Park are not reservable and self-filled on a first come-first served basis with valid Park Permit.  Permit options for non-reservable sites are Day Permits or Year Permits, and both options cover ALL PARK USE (including overnight camping, hiking etc.)

  • Day Permits: $15 per night. Available online or through a local vendor.

  • Annual Permit: $95 per year (year is May 1 to April 30). Available online or through a local vendor.

  • Golden Pass Annual Permit: $60 per year (year is May 1 to April 30). Only available through the park office or a local vendor.  Must be 65 years old or older.

If you are going to use the Park without a campground reservation, you need either a Day Use or Annual Permit.

Do I need a Permit for each vehicle?

No.  Permits cover households.  So those who reside at the same residence are covered under the same permit.  Permits are also non-transferrable.

Where can I Purchase a Park Permit?

Day Permits and Annual Permits are available for purchase online. A small convenience fee will be added to your payment. For Day Permit online purchases, your receipt will serve as your permit.  For Annual Permit online purchases, your receipt will serve as a temporary permit and a hard copy will be mailed to the address provided.

Permits are sold online or at the following vendors in Havre: North 40 Outfitters, Bing n Bob’s, Bear Paw Meats, Stromberg's Sinclair, the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Hill County Treasurers Office.  Park Permits are also sold at the Park Office. For your convenience, there are self-pay boxes in the Park itself at the RV Dump Site and at the Information Kiosk at the Northern Entrance.
